I attended a local gun show today, and on one of the tables, there was some of this ammo for sale.
I thought about grabbing a box to try it in the Marlin 336 that I got for Susan.
I tried to look it up tonight, and it looks like Federal doesn't even offer it anymore, and could not find a lot about its ballistic specs. The bullet is bonded.
There are also a couple of LGSs that do show that they have it in stock.
Has anyone tried this ammo?
How did it perform?
- Accuracy?
- Velocity in a 20" barrel?
- On game?
