So my 15 year old Stephan drew a Antelope buck tag. Out of all our arsenal he wants to shoot his goat with my Accumatk 30-378. He will not take no for an answer. 180 E-tips at 3520 fps will work I guess.

PS I created a monster!

Too funny! Best of luck to Stephan. We're all pulling for him to tag a great buck.

It will be better than my buck. Usually I shoot anything I see just to get it out of the way so we can concentrate on his.

Fotis,

A chip off the 'ol block.
Best of luck to both of you.

Now your sure he's not just trying to be lazy,LOL shouldn't be to much to pack out with that cannon. A frontal shot should gut and half in one fatal swoop.

Good hunting guys! Tell Stephan I said "Hey!"

I will be doing our Posse Pronghorn Hunt the first weekend of October up in the Texas panhandle.

Fotis are you sure he isn't a little bit undergunned on that one? Those antelope are tough though pound for pound. Sure need to see pictures when he gets his goat!

At least he didn't choose the 416 Bee. Best of luck to him and get lots of pictures

Know that you will have a great time together. Lots of photos and good luck on getting a real good speed goat. :)

Blessings,
Dan

Good Lord! Just think what that boy is gonna want to shoot when he puts a few years and 20-30 pounds on! Bring two bags of Ice, One for whats left of the goat and the other for the kids shoulder ....once he settles down.... Have a great time! CL

PS you thought it cost somthing to feed a teenager? Wait until you have to feed his reloading habbit

The statement "overkill still works" applies here, right? 180 E-Tip will do just fine.
