Headed for elk tomorrow

Stephan and I have type 2 any elk tags for area 11 and Chris has a cow/calf tag.

Chris---Ruger compact 308 win
Me-----Marlin SS guide gun 45-70

All excellent cartridges for elk. Stephen handles that 325WSM quite well, so he could be dangerous to the health of WY elk. :grin:

I love that area 11 tag. Wish I was going. I was antelope hunting near their a week ago and thought I would drive into the Wick area. I got stuck in the snow and mud 60 yds from the gate. Thank god for tire chains. I hope it has dried out for you. Wish you all good hunting. Brian
