Hey Scotty...time to salivate some!

What a beauty, he isn't going to be able to sleep when he sees this

Wow, I would really like to own that exact rifle to top off my 35 caliber collection! What a beautiful rifle it is! Son of a gun. Yeah, you got me with that. That is some kinda nice and just looks made for hunting. That 358 STA is a true hammer too. Man, wished I was a rich kid. Scotty

Scotty, I wish that I was a rich kid too, instead of a poor old godger! With the .340 Bee, I would have a hard time wanting a .358 STW.

Yeah I figure if I ever get around to it I will build me a proper 358 magnum. I really wished I could swing that rifle. It is beautiful. I do have a great shooting 338WM so I don't need a 358 Mag too bad I guess. Love those wood and stainless M70's. Scotty

Oh man, that is a beauty and a sledge hammer all in one.

Scotty,
With this one, you don't need the 35 Whelen, 338 Win Mag, 264 Win Mag or the 7 WSM.

What fun it that? I would rather have all four myself (LOL).

Yeah, those others have no fear of leaving me. I do like those big 35's though. Maybe when I retire from the MC I will treat myself to a big gun like that that. Scotty

Yes, the 35 Remington, 358Win, 35 Whelen, 9.3x62, 358 Norma mag and the 358STA are great cartridges and I have owned the 35 Remington, 358Win and the 35 Whelen and have wanted to own a 358 Norma mag. But I truly love the 358Win, and frankly when I consider the recoil of the 358Win shooting a 225gr bullet at 2576fps has no more free recoil than a 30-06 with a 165gr bullet moving 2950fps, and there is nothing I could not drop with it in North America, I believe it is the most efficient of the 35 calibers. I am not shooting cape buffalo, or elephant, or hippo, are African lions (by the way which all these were taken in great numbers by Bell using a 7x57mm mauser which is for all intents and purposes the same as a 7mm08 and my 30-06 with a 180gr Partition stopped an African lion) so my 358Win or my 300Win mag will do just fine for the big stuff I will hunt here. It is so hard to believe how good the sales Ruger had with the 358Win and then they dropped the chambering. If a man can shoot a 30-06 with a 165gr bullet he can shoot a 358Win with a 225gr bullet and there is nothing, I mean nothing on this continent that the 358Win cannot dispatch in fine fashion.

Scotty, I notice that for all your advocating for the 300WSM, it's not listed in your calibers.

Have you addressed that issue yet?

;)

I have a plan in place Tom. Everything good starts with a plan. Scotty
