...hmmm, new Browning 6.5's...

HMMMM 26 Nosler for $900. Why he darn brake though?

PS Brownings shoot well.

I don't hear much about Brownings, nowadays. Everything is Remington, Savage & Ruger.

Some of the specs that I read on the A-Bolt rifles suggest that they are glass bedded from the factory. Is that true?

I picked up an X-Bolt in .270WIN last year....absolutely the easiest rifle to get shooting well I've ever owned.

I'd buy one in 26N in a heartbeat...

Very cool. Good to see Browning "in the fight" so to speak. They aren't my favorite but I do think they make a solid bolt gun. Their 26 Nosler platform looks pretty well thought out.

Tell me, what's so cool about the 26 Nosler over the .264 Win Mag?

For me, nothing at all. I actually like the 264 Win Mag a whole lot.

For a bunch of guys, I bet they are dieing to run the long 140's out at 3200 plus without issues. It's a cool cartridge but I enjoy my 264 Win Mag a lot as well.

Why the darn Brakes???? :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x

Shoot Fotis, Savage has been putting brakes on their 6.5x284's for a few years now...

Maybe their lighter weight will benefit from them?

I wouldn't want the brake myself either.

The only ones I want brakes on are in the 378 Bee recoil Class and above. And I know cause my 378 Bee does not have one!!!
