Remington used those in their original 250 gr factory load way back in the day, worked fine on a black bear. They don't retain a lot of weight compared to others but still do the job.

You are correct Gerry. I have a box of the original Remington factory 250 gr RNSP.
I ordered a box and will see how they shoot. May also jug one and will post results.
