Well I have had my Hornady digital scale for 2 months and so far I like it. At first I tried to use a powder tickler with it, but could not get it in a good spot to make it smooth for me. Now I just use a Lee scoop to "tap" the last little bit in. The scale seems accurate. I let it warm up and calibrate it every time I use it because I put it back in the box so I move it every time. When the heat kicks in and the air is moving, it does make it move a little. I have weighted out loads and dumped them back to recheck and they are the same. I also put the weights on every now and then and it is correct. I feel that for $80, it will make me a better reloader. I know it is better than the Lee beam I was using. My only complain is that it takes a second to catch up with me dumping powder and sometimes I go over my target weight. If I slow down a touch, all is good.

Try this setup!

Build a small shelf over your scale that you can mount your powder dispenser to. Then you can throw a charge directly onto the scale, trickle the last half grain or so, and load. I have found this to be fast and extremely accurate!
