For those that use this powder measure or have seen it in action, When it is mounted on its optional stand, is it high enough that the Hornady L-N-L scale will fit under it?

Here is my idea: I want the have the powder measure set up right over the scale. I will drop a charge into the pan, trickle in the last .5gr or so and it's ready to go. Should be ten times faster than the Auto Dispenser!

I use the hornady and you could arrange something to make that idea work. If the measure was on a stand you could put the scale on a cut 2x4 or something to get the scale high enough to avoid powder splash.
Then position the trickler in a similar fashion and yes...it would save time from the "dial a charge" systems of today.

p.s.

I can get mine to the exact grain all the time with feel. I could never expect someone to have the same results but I can tell when one of the grains have distorted the thrown charge. In that case I just dump it right back in and throw again. I measure them all but having the sense of feel with the unit I adjust it to the grain I need and it throws to that every time. When it doesn't I just throw it back in the hopper and throw again.
This method is so much faster than anything else...even using a trickler with your above method...and every charge still gets measured.

Thanks, good advice

When I was loading a bunch of rifle ammo, I used pretty much the same method, but I would throw into a small plastic pill bottle, then slowly dump that into the scale pan. My exuberance/clumsiness would make a total mess of directly throwing into the pan.
