how about a new commercial 6.5

Aw....Guy Miner you included my lowly 250 Savage on your list. I am touched.....really. And you do make a good point. The old 250 will do the job on a lot of fronts and if you get the bullet in the exact right spot the results are just as impressive as any "Whizzem' Maganaganum". But really if we couldnt argue over the merits of a couple thousanths of an inch or a few grains in weight what would we do in the "off season"??? Marketing science at its finest!! CL

PS if i remember correctly, Ridge's daughter took that deer with a 250 Savage..... am I correct....???
264 WM was a heck of a round, so I am told....

Great looking rifle RR. The Gibbs are pretty cool cartridges. Also, good deal with your daughter. That is great. Hopefully mine takes me hunting when I am old and frail!

Guy, I know what you mean. So many cartridges do a great job, but having some extra never hurt either. I like my WSM, and my 7mm Rem, and my 35 Whelen. Gotta have something to yap about during our off time. Scotty
