Pop, I think Florida will grow on you. I've lived on the central East coast for 17 years and love it. Year round motorcycle riding is a fact. Hunting isn't half bad with Deer, gator, Hogs (big ones) and damn good duck hunting. Fishing is superb and Red snapper, mangrove snapper, all kinds of grouper, cobia and other good things look good in the freezer. There any number of rifle ranges and gun clubs. As far as traffic, the east coast is a little bit better during snowbird season. In my 17 years I've actually seen snow twice down here (for at least 30 seconds). The ground was white for about a half hour. Looked good around the coconut tree.

If I can get a deer and a couple of miss piggies every year I am good!
