Well it is official the young smith here in Regina is going home ( back to Montana ). I understand why but if I don't get my action in the next 10 days or so I will have to find someone to build & that means rifle will likely not be done for this fall . The action is supposedly shipped but stock keeps getting delayed :evil: once they get your order it seems that it is always over what they promise.

If your action makes it to you then at least he could do all the metal work and get someone else to do the bedding for you. Hopefully it will get to you soon. It will all work out hopefully it will be soon however.

Well I received a little more info on my defiance action and it is likely not good Defiance has changed it's exporting practice they are now using a Broker. Rod advised that he has 8 actions now at the Brokers so it could still take more time :evil:
Jace my smith is going for a couple of interviews with the Railroad so likely will be leaving first week of June!!
I think I have a back up plan incase but hoping I won't have to use it!

Well Rod at RMR stated if I shipped them my components it would take 10 days or so. I would then have to ask the good Doctor if he would take it out for a test drive or 2 :mrgreen: just to make sure it was working.
But I hope to hear something this coming week regarding the action.

Thank Guys, I hope that Jace gets to do the work he is a great kid & does fantastic work. As I stated just recently sure burns me that we have to jump through so many hoops to get shooting supplies across the 49th.
