For those of you who have traveled internationally to hunt, what do you use for a rifle case and ammunition case?
I’ve got a Pelican 1750 rifle case that has some air miles. I actually watched a baggage handler toss it 10-12’ up the conveyor track from the comfort of my window seat. Fortunately no damage was done and a couple days later I shot my WY Antelope at 338 yards. That was my first hunt with Fotis. 😃
What say you?

I now have an "SKB" rifle case . the case seems to be durable . it's got a few nicks , and gouges , but the rifles have always been fine . for my ammo , I just used my plastic "MTM" ammo box . it needs to be packed separately from the rifle . I put the ammo in another locked checked bag . I pack my knife in with my rifle .

I had a cheaper aluminum gun case that got destroyed in one trip . I thought it would be a suitable gun case , but I was proven wrong . I always pull the bolt out when packing the rifle . if I had the bolt packed on the side of the rifle case, that got torn open , I'd have lost the bolt . when I picked up my luggage at the final airport I was sick , seeing the foam hanging out . thankfully everything was there , and the rifle was ok .

what you have JD , will be great . it will work fine for you .
