Muzz, I dont have the treeline's, but I have the VAPRTREK's can can say that I will probably wear out the sole before any of the top construction gives out. They meant it when they said it was designed from a running shoe. I've only wore them seven times but have had to pick out thorns and cockaburrs from the bottom of the sole. They are so soft that the spikes of the cockaburrs penetrate into sole. I fear the hunt where one of those thorns that broke off works its way through the sole and into the bottom of my foot. Other than that, they are extremely comfortable. The treeline's vibram sole doesnt look like it will have the problem the VAPRTREKs running sole.
