I slipped over to Charlestown Wv. today and met Lee to pick up his 35 Whelen. Well he doesn't own it any more. That's right I brought it home with me. Lee is a great guy and it was a pleasure to do business with him and I got all the goodies also.so I'll be set with bullets and brass for quite a while.
Every one here has seen it and the targets he shot with it so the only new ones I'll post is when I get a scope on it and do some testing on my own.

Congratulations, Rodger. Lee will have done you a great service releasing that fine rifle into your tender care.

Thanks DrMike & Scotty. So as soon as I can pick up some RL15 I'll be hitting you up for your pet loads. I've got some 200, 250 Hornadays, 250 Speer hot core, 225 BT, and some 250 PT. From the looks of the targets Lee gave me it loves the 200gr Hornaday.

Nice score and congrat's TD as any day ya get a new toy is a great day !! You are in great company now and that should be a thumper !

Thanks Terry. I got some brass with it and have been cleaning it in prep for reloading.

Way to go Rodger, it is always a great day when you pick up a beautiful rifle and it is double nice when the calibre is a 35 Whelen. I know that you are going to really enjoy this rifle they load like a dream and really hit like a Truck .

Blessings,
Dan
