SWEEEEEEEET! I definitely like that. The cartridge is a great one. The firearm is one handsome brute. Congratulations, Fotis.

I was wondering why you would trip your great shooting Savage Predator Max 243. Should be a flat liner Fotis.

3 shot group 105 Berger VLD at a leisurely 3350 fps!

Slow powders are your friend. 7828SSC somewhere around 52 or 53 grains with a 90 grain AB and you will be pushing 3600-3700. Nice find Fotis.

That is awesome! That thing should shoot like a laser.... Very good looking stick Fotis!

It will get a Vortex Viper 6.5x20x44mm and a picatinny 20 MOA base.

That should be fun to play with. How many rounds are down the barrel? What are you expecting for barrel life out of it? R25 may be a great option for powders as well with the 105 grain bullets. What is the weight on the setup?

Round count is about 50 or so. IF I get 1000 rounds (if that) I will be happy.
Load is RL25 with the 105 berger, not max. Does equally well with SMK's 107.

Not sure of the weight to be honest.

There was a guy I shot F-class with last summer that has one in a HV contour that said he got about 750 rounds out of the first barrel and was at about 450 on the one he was using. He says you just order a barrel every year and have it replaced over the winter  .

Barrel contour looks like it is about a #4 so weight should be around 9-10 lbs without the scope. Was the picture of the target shot by you or the guy you bought it from? Nice group if that was just you out fooling around.

The guy who built it. It was his rifle.

I do not have the gun yet should be here next week. As for the round count I have heard similar #'s. For Antelope and coyotes that tube will last me a lifetime :p

Exactly, there is no need to justify a barrel burner  It will take a lot of yotes piled up before it shoots groups over moa.

Man, great looking rifle and what a shooter! Love the way the marbling came out on your stock! Are those Holland type muzzle brakes ported 360 degrees around their circumference?
