Kitty's is out if the bag Doc.....New toy

Oh man, that's nice! And its neck isn't as tight as my .243AI's so it won't be as much work to turn down the necks.

Thank you George. Ever since we killed those goats years ago outside Torrington WY I fell in love with your 243 AI. Awesome looking gun!

This one is darn close.

My reamer is a .280 neck and I've never had to turn necks for it so I doubt Fotis will either.

I'm pretty sure my buddy Ross sells that guy brakes. The brake looks just like his.

You should get around to shooting some of those bullets I sent you. Those 115 grain Berger VLD's might stabalize in that barrel since you can push them a little harder.

Would you believe still in the package?

Your going to love that iron Fotis! I shoot 95gr Bergers over RL22 and it really screams! PM if you'd like the load info.

I decided my 6-284 would live a lot longer if I refrained from shooting it at coyotes and varmints. Not that I see coyotes by the hundreds, but when I'm out doing stuff like that I tend to end up shooting at just about any target of opportunity. That's why it's probably a good thing jackrabbits are scarce in my neck of the woods, but I would like to shoot just a couple of them with it---just to know. Anyway, that's why I ended up shooting 95-grain Partitions with it...I think of it as a light big game rifle.

BTW---very nice rifle! I wish mine would shoot like that.

Fotis that is one sweet round  once you finish tinkering it will
shoot lights out.
I look forward to your range report with photos :)

Blessings,
Dan

I will take all the data you got buddy.

Fotis,

Nice rifle. As long as you only use the rifle exclusively for long range hunting, you have nothing to worry about barrel life. Excellent choice of cartridge, just a pain to reload since no factory brass available.

Fotis, that thing looks great! I have not made up my mind on what tube to stick on my Savage. The 6-284 is on my list. Keep me posted on how you like it. It sure looks like it shoots lights out!

Very cool lookin' rifle. That group- well it might be worth a barrel a year... :) . Enjoy! CL
