Here is my latest wallet made for forum member Vince!
This is the first wallet I have done with tooling and I think it came out quite nice looking. I really liked that not only is it an enjoyable pattern to look at, but it also feels nice to have the texture in hand. I used 4-5 oz. leather for the backing to get nice deep tooling, and 2-3 oz. on the pockets, but even the thinner pockets took the tooling very well. Credit to Vince for suggesting the tooling on the pockets, I had never seen that before but it really added to the piece.
