Gerry who is going to do the build for you? If your dropping in at Corlane they build as good a rifle as you can get.

Yes I would get Corlanes to do it, once I sell my current gun then the search for a donor will begin, either a Rem 700 or Win model 70 would be great. It is much easier to find a Remington than a Winchester, if everything worked out perfectly I would be able to find a stainless model 70 and go from there but they are really rare guns. Next up would be a stainless barrel and then as funds allowed a Mcmillan Edge stock.
Looking forward to seeing how yours turns out, you should have it before spring and then the loading fun will begin
