The 7STW is a fascinating cartridge. I've worked up loads on a number of occasions. My sense is that this is an excellent cartridge that is not terribly difficult to load for. This particular rifle is attractive; the twenty-six inch tube makes it all the more attractive.

Didn't know they made left hand 7mm STW's, that would make a fine long range moose and elk gun for someone with a good 160 gr or heavier bullet. I would try the 175 gr Partition in that one if it were mine.

Got anything you can sell quick? I'm sure you know how hard it is to find a lefty in anything that isn't a common caliber.

Very nice. How does it shoot? Kill any game with it? I bet that rifle would be a laser and down right nasty loaded with a Swift 150gr SI2 bullet or 160gr AccuBond.

That is a nice rig Boomer. I have watched the STW Model 70's for awhile. They are a screamer of a 7mm, that is for sure!

My hunting partner frequently carries a Sako chambered in 7STW. It is a great cartridge that has some reach.

I personaly really like the STW as a cartridge. Ballistic wise its a little better than the 300 Win Mag, and has enough bullet to hit with authority. There "seems" to be more of a push than rap with the recoil. I love the cartridge but have a love/hate relationship with my rifle in that caliber.
