I'm trying to find load data for a 50-140 and am having trouble. Anyone load for one?

To properly load for any "big sharps" cartridge you need to use black powder. For that monster that you have you should use 1FG. You should trickle through a 24 inch drop tube enough powder to fill the case to the point that you can put a wad made of tablet backing or wax milk carton on top of the powder and seat the bullet compressing the powder about ten thousands of an inch about 140 grs worth. Use Federal 215 mag primers to light such a large charge. Next find some person with a low IQ to shoulder and fire the rifle. Man that thing is going to kick you into next week. By the way the real sharps rifle Co. largest case cartridge that they ever made was the 2 7/8 inch case 45-110
