I built a new 100 yd range in my back yard conveniently locating my bench/ table under a white oak shade tree.

I shot 3 guns today to try a few new loads I worked on until 2:45 am this morning. The guns I shot today were:
Tikka T3 s/s camo 7mm-08 topped with a Sworovski Z3 3.5-10.
Tikka T3 s/s laminate .243 Win. sporting a Leupold VX-II 4x12 A/O.
Rem 700 BDL .270 Win. wearing a Leupold VX-I 3x9.
Also pictured is their stable mate, a Tikka T3 s/s camo .308 Win. with a Leupold VX -I 4x12 optic. I didn't shoot it today but included the target it printed 1st 4 shots out of the box.

Group shot by .308 a few weeks ago.

Things are starting to come together. I want to get the 7mm to shoot 1/4-1/2" consistently. The 700 rem will one hole Sierra Match Kings but I want a big game load.

I think that the top target for the .243 could have been a one hole group too. The flyer to the left was the first shot from a super clean barrel. The next 2 were cutting and point of impact.

Very convenient, that's for certain. Looks as if you have some shooters on your hands. Very gratifying, no doubt. (y)

Fine riflery.
I can see why you like Tikkas.
Nice range also.
Is that a pearl guinea I see in one pic?

I shouldn't make comments like that when using the iPad.
Looking at it on the home computer shows a rock. Sorry! Really looked like a guinea.

Hey there, welcome to the forum.

You should try RL-15, it work extremely well with both the 140 SGK and the 140 NBT for me in my 7mm-08.

At initial glance, it does look like a guinea fowl. Don't imagine it would make even good broth, however.

I'll try it when I can find it. It's scarce in my area. IMR4451 at 44.0 gr has worked best so far. H100V not so well. IMR 4350 works decent though. Thanks for the suggestion.

Wow, pack of great shooters and excellent shooting on your behalf as well. Cool rifles.

Love the private range you have there and you have some excellent shooters........

Thanks guys. I wish that my guns shot as well as many of the ones you fellows have and post targets of with pix and load data. This is the best forum on the web. I really enjoy it.

Snood, your rifles leave nothing to want more of. They look great and it looks like they all shoot really well.

Don't mind JD's and Mikes targets, they are shot so close you can probably see powder burns...

It is amazing what a 30 calibre pencil will do for your groups.

Was just checking to make sure you were awake! HA!

I carry a sharp #2 myself!

Excellent groups and beautiful rifles. A little tweaking here and there will probably close up those "slightly" larger groups. There is not a rifle there that couldn't be hunted with tomorrow. Congratulations.
