Loading For The 257Wby Mark V Accumark

I am starting a thread to deal with loading for the new 257 Weatherby Magnum Mark V Accumark that I will be receiving the end of next week are the first part of the following week. I will also post pictures of the rifle and of course group sizes and chrony readings.

I have already prepped and primed 40 Weatherby brass.

I have the following powders I will be working with using both the 100gr TSX and the 110gr AccuBond.

RL-25
RL-22
H4831sc
IMR4350
IMR7828

My .257eatherby, is a Remington SPS. I Have learned to like 3 powders. RL-22 , IMR-7828 and best for me is Ramshot magnum.
I have yet to try the 110 grain acubond , but I will get around to it eventually.
The 100 grain TSX had been a great bullets in both of my .257 Roberts rifles, so I tried it with my .257 wetherby.
I get around .5 inches at 100 yards , while the bullets scoots along at 3550, with the Ramshot.
I got great groups with RL-22 also , but I was about 60 FPS slower.

I was able to get a sub-MOA, 3 shot grouping, from 100 yards with the 110 AccuBond and 74.0 grains of RL 25. It shoots around 3,500 FPS out of my Mark V, with 26" barrel. I need to get back out to the range and confirm the load though. Good luck in your development.
