Was wondering if anyone here loads for the .480Ruger? I love my 12" Encore but the loaded ammo is getting expensive. The gun is a blast to shoot though.
I have bought some Rainer 325 grain bullets and was wondering about loads. Since this is not a jacketed bullet I will need to load it as a lead bullet. Have not found any loads for a 325 grain lead bullet. The only powder I have for this round at the time is H110.
I'm also getting ready to load some Speer 275 gold dots and Barnes X-Bullets if anyone has any good info.
Will have to order some Hornady 325 grain XTPs soon. The factory load is shooting 1" groups at 30 yards with a 2X scope. I know with practice I will do even better.
