Hi, I'm new to the Nosler Forum.
I'm going to Namimbia next year to hunt plains game(!) and I've decided to take my two Kimbers(84 & 8400).I'm thinking AccuBond 150s or 165s in the 308 and 200gr AccuBond in the 325wsm.Ya'll have any sugestions for some loadings for these two? I'm also considering trying the Barnes TTSX - any thoughts?
P.S. I'm not rich, just lucky. I won the trip at an SCI auction and only paid 1500$ for a 7000$ trip!

Kudu,Gemsbuck, Zebra, Wildebeast...anything and everything except Eland. I should save something for later.

I really like the .325WSM and have found my particular rifle to love a 200 grain AccuBond with a CCI 200 primer, winchester brass, and 67.0 grains of H4350. This is over max in some load books. It is safe in my gun and shoots much better than any other load with H4350 that I have tried. I have tried numerous primers, and powder charges, and this was the only one that shot well. My groups went from 1.5" to about .5" just with the primer. My gun would not shoot this powder well at all with any magnum primer.

As far as the .308, I have found that a max load of 47.0 grains of Varget behind a 150 grain AccuBond with Federal 210M primers is very consistent and accurate.

These results are both from Browning A Bolts.

Thanks Rob - I'll back down about 10% and work up to that 325 load. I'm trying to duplicate the winchester supreme load with the 200gr AB. It shoots .5" moa in my 8400 but I can't afford to practice much at 50$ a box!

Muleman,

My "Go To" load on my 325 WSM is a Federal 215 primer with 64 grains of Big Game and a 200 grain Partition. Accuracy averages 0.3 inches and velocity is nearing 2900 fps. It certainly does a quick and decisive job on elk and moose.
