10 grains of Unique under a 250-320 grain bullet in a 44 Rem Mag!
This! Always used 10 grains of unique with every 240-250 grain cast bullet I’ve ever loaded in the 44 mag. Very pleasant load and still achieves over 1100 FPS in my 8 3/8” model 29.

In the 270 Win 57grs of IMR 4831 has grouped well in different rifles of this caliber with a 130gr bullet. Dan.
Dan nailed this one. Never had a 270 that wouldn’t shoot great with 57-58 grains of IMR 4831 and 130gr bullets.

Ya, a classic load for sure. 10 grains of Unique in the 44 mag with a 240 - 255 grain bullet... I think I first loaded that nearly 40 years ago. :) It's more or less my standard "plinker" load for the 44 mag revolver when I don't feel like I need max power, which is pretty much most of the time. :)
