Overall a great day!

Wow, excellent shooting Fotis! That 444 Marlin is on my to do list as well. Looks like it is really liking that 265gr Hornady. I hear that is the jacketed bullet of choice for alot of the 444 guys. Speed looks excellent.

That 270WBY is really looking excellent! It looks like a great range day. Scotty

Fotis,

Nicely done. Glad the winds died down for ya.

Nice shooting Fotis!! Did you try the lazermark or just bring it along to show it where the range was? :p

Scottie The 444 marlin likes the 300 XTP better actually. If I had not pulled that 3rd shot..... man oh man..

They all look good, Fotis. You have to love that 444. That is a lot of punch delivered on target. The 223 is just dying to drop a few enraged sage rats.

Fotis, Have you checked out the bullet test on the Marlin Owners Forum? Looks like a good test of alot of good bullets. Too bad you couldn't try out the 250gr PT. I think that would have been an awesome bullet in the 444. Scotty

Yup I hang out there quite a bit...

Pop,
Good shooting there buddy, I like that 378 Weatherby, good looking gun!

Don

Nice shooting POP. What powder and charge weight did you use for the .444 and the 265gr?

the 300 XTP was 55 gr H335
and the 265 was 45gr H4198.

Looks like it! Equally prepared for varmints, buffalo, or any antelope within approximately 25 miles. Good job Pop. :)

So, a 40-gr BT at 4175; is that where Nosler got the footage of a prairie dog turning into a mushroom cloud???

Not sure...

But that is what 40.5 gr of Varget will do....

Now that is a great range day! WELL DONE!

What is the diff between the .444 and the 45-70?
