Who makes a lower ring for the CZ527 than the stock rings? I can't get to any factory web sights due to restritive filters for most hunting related things.
Burris and Leupold are listed as medium in what cataloges I have. I have a VX 3-9x33 light weight so I would much like to lower it by say 0.10" or so.

I'm afraid with the 527, you will not be able to use low rings because of the bolt handle design. If you can find them, I am sure you will have to modify the bolt handle to make them work. Even with medium burris rings to clear my 44mm objective, the bolt would not clear the eyepiece of the scope. I ground down the side of the handle and reblued it so it would work. Good luck!

Thanks here is what I found out from midway. Leupold and Burris medium rings are .500 in hieght and will work with my Vx3-9x33. The Warne medium is .480 and won't work with even the small Leupold scope (eye peice).

I am told Calhoon makes a bolt handle that will correct this. I will have to get more informed on this.

Just bought Calhoons rings .425", a low profile bolt, and single shot carrier for the CZ527. I will get some of his 37gr and 42gr bullets when I start reloading for it soon. Next is a good gun smith to ream this barrel to 22 K-Hornet. Then I will be all set.
