As you probably know I'm a fan of the .338 Win Mag. The fact that your rifle is chambered in .300 WSM gave me pause but I'll stick with the medium bore.

Yeah- the .338 is a really good choice. It's never been a favorite of mine although I'm really considering something along those lines in the future. I've always been a fan of a ".30 and .375 combo"...but a .338 for a one gun and done is tough to beat.
