Matrix bullets

gerry, they look similar to the Berger? Just a little different look at the boattail.
If they are good quality they should help other than there is a 20.00 surcharge for handling & shipping.
I am also wondering if any if our group has tried these?

Blessings,
Dan

I've shot a bunch of the .308 210gr VLD and a few of the 168gr 7mm's. Both a very accurate in my rifles. I've shot 2 elk with the 210's and saw another shot. The two I shot were cows and there was very little/no expansion. The bull a friend shot had the first bullet blow up in the liver at 612yds and the second pencil holed through the lungs.

Sounds as if they haven't worked out depth and position of skives. Expansion appears to be less than satisfying, which can be a problem with monolithic bullets.

I believe the VLD bullets are a cup and core. There have been some good reports of their soft point bonded core bullets.
