I saw on the Cabelas website yesterday that they are going to stock McMillian Rifles in the Glendale Az store. Those with several hundred points could get a bargain their. !

What are you thinking of getting Bill? I know the wheels are turning in your head right now!

The only actual McMillan I shot was a .50 cal sniper rifle they were trying to sell to the Marines back in the mid-late 1980's. It looked like a giant Remington 700 action. Single shot. Doggone that thing was accurate, even with the military issue .50 BMG ammo we ran through it. That rifle held up well to a bunch of Jarheads trying to shoot it every which way, dragging it through the dirt all the while. The Corps eventually bought the semi-auto Barrett instead, but dang, that McMillan was a shooter!

Otherwise, I've spend time with several rifles stocked by McMillan - love the stocks.

Their rifles sure look good...

The SEALS run that McMillan and do decent with it. Not as good as Marines, but really, who does!

I know a fella who has one in 30-378 Wby. It is a shooter.

wheels are always turning but I still have several rifles I am trying to finish load develpment on, no new rifles in my future. I have another one up for sale. Most of the ones I have now are tricked out as I like them , just have to make them shoot.

I visited their factory a few years back on a business trip to Arizona...nice run operation. Their were some areas they wouldn't let us go into where the top secret stuff must be made  .
