Well I went out behind my house tonight with a winter storm just starting. I figured the deer would be moving with 8-12" of snow predicted.
Shot this butter ball with my new T/C Omega with a .451 cal 260 gr PT at 30 yds.
Looks like we will have more pepper stick and brats.

Congrats JD!

Nothing like hunting in a snow. I have not had the chance to do that in years.

That Nosler bullet really did a good job. I'm going to try some this off season.

Same here, it rarely snows in Deer season if at all.

Yes, that is the enterance wound. The .451 cal 260 gr PT does an excellent job on WT deer. They never go far.

Good shooting I see ya got the tree too, it shouldn't have been hard to track with blood trail like that!
