Many thanks Mike - Brilliant help, hopefully gonna take a red hind with this old girl on 19th Dec when I'll be in Scotland. Wishing you the very best. Cheers, George

Mike beat me to it, but danged if those don't all look like killers with that big 160 on top!

Great to hear from you ET!
Wonderful to see you here Scotty, many thanks anyway. I'm hoping they will be killers - I'm sure they are, but haven't yet used it on reds in Scotland. I'm going north on 19th Dec & will I hope take a red hind. Very best to you & Mike of course.

Good luck ET! Cannot wait to hear or see how you do up North on the hunt! Seems like that 6.5 has ran you through the wringer over the years!

To be honest Scotty, since it was re-barrelled with the new Krieger in 2019, I've hardly used it. My Blaser K95 was always my 'Go-to' for hunting & never failed me. I sold it a couple of months ago as my walking ability is gone now so I'm not hunting so much as 'Ambushing' whatever walks out, so I didn't see much point in keeping a $7,250 rifle in the safe. It wasn't so bad as I got damn near what I paid for the K95 new & now I'm retired & on a pension, the $$$ come in useful!
I still have 2 MSch 6.5x54 rifles & also my Swede Steyr Mannlicher Classic 6.5x55 so now they're getting some use so it's fine as all are pretty accurate.
Anyway my friend, hopefully you're doing fine & life is treating you kindly? It's great to hear from you. Both you & Mike were very helpful with load data... Tho' I'd lost the data you originally gave me when my computer gave up the ghost a couple of years ago. Anyway - all good now!
Over the last 3 years I've been visiting a friend in Colorado whom I met 'Online' when he'd bought a couple of MSch rifles & had an issue with one. Anyway we sorted the problem & all is well since.
Stay well & enjoy life - old age catches up eventually so make the most of it. Very best wishes from merry old England
