Took the family out for a drive to do some scouting, huckleberry picking and maybe even bump into a bear. My wife got this picture of me and my best spotter scanning for bears. Can't wait until she's old enough to really go hunting with me! She has her lever action, pink camo toy rifle and if you ask her, what do we do with bears? She gets really exited and yells, shoot em! About brought a tear to her Daddy's eye.... :mrgreen:

Thanks. Got to admit I'm pretty darn proud that she would rather go out and play in a pile of dirt than stay inside and play with dolls! I'm hopeful that trend will continue and that she'll be able to out shoot any boy that might come calling. Going to keep that video of me shooting buckets at 1230 yards to show the first boy that shows up at the door...just some food for thought for how he should treat my baby girl! :twisted:

When my oldest daughter was 3 years old, she wanted to see the deer I had shot. She looked over the spike horn and said, "Don't hurt him daddy, just take out the steaks". She also coined the phrase, "Spike Horn Steak".
21 short years later, she finally decided to give deer hunting a try.
It did bring a tear to my eye!
