Nosler needs to lake a 7mm PAR bullet in 120gr or even 100grs that would be built suitable for the 7mm-08 for use on smaller deer/pronghorns and such. I use the 140gr in my 7mm rem mag and it is great in that cartridge for about anything. But it is a bit heavy for the 7mm-08 except for hogs and such.

Thank you for allowing me to bitch

Personally I have used the 120 BT and it acts like a baby 140 BT. Works great on deer/antelope.

Pop has it right.
At 7mm-08 velocities the Ballistic tip is perfect. You don't need a Partition to stop rapid expansion because the expansion rate of the ballistic tip is designed for the velocities the 7mm-08 operates at. If you, on the other hand, had a 7mm mag or RUM or even a 280AI it could be an issue on antelope under a hundred yards but you have the perfect combination. Antelope are better taken with expansion than penetration, unless you want to shoot three at a time. I'm not trying to be flippant or insensative because I love the Accubonds and Partitions but at standard velocities even the Sierra game king bthp is excellent. That's the velocity all standard bullets are designed for. Pick one you like at the weight you like and you will have no problems with bullet performance.

Actually, a 120 gr AB would make for an excellent offering in 7mm.

I will say it again . I have it big game at impact velocities of 3100 fps with the 120 bt 7mm. Here is a recovered slug after breaking both shoulders and found under the far hide.

A 120gr ABond would be sweet for us 7mm guys! They would fly fast and flat and knock the snot out of deer size game. Plus, it would be lower recoil and good for youth loads. Scotty

120gr AB....hmmm, bet I could launch those at 4k out of that STW of mine.... Here speed goat... 8) 8)

Now you're talking! Make the 257 Bee seem like a 30-30!

Here's what it would look like with a 350 yard zero at my altitude.
