My first deer hunt.

Something else that gave me a lot of satisfaction was the load I developed for this rifle. I found a target that said the grouping was .491" in addition to the .679" grouping. I have taken a lot of pride in the fact that I worked very hard in load development and practice with this rifle and it all paid off with my first shot being the kill shot. I can always have pride in the skill I developed through my reloading has an actual purpose besides punching paper.

Lots of pride goes into rolling your own that's for sure. Great looking buck and sounds like a wonderful hunt.
