Very nice, Boomer. Have you selected a bullet to test first?

Nice! You are going to love the 7mm RUM. It is a true flat liner.
The 160 gr AB at 3300 fps hits hard both near and far away.
The 168 gr ABLR will be a winner for sure in the 7mm RUM.

Thanks guys. The action was coated by previous owner and he also duracoted the wood stock
Might leave as is, or put a B&C Medalist on.

The 7mm Rum does not hold a back seat to many calibres it will definitely reach out and touch something in a real hurry 8).
Look forward to more photos and a couple of range reports.

Blessings,
Dan

I like the way that rifle looks with the coating, no worries about making a long distance call with that package. I hope you are planning on coating your bullets with salt so your meat does not spoil before you get to it LOL. I have a couple of pounds of H-50BMG left over from my 30-378 days so if you are in a pinch for slow powder for that girl drop me a line and I will find a way to get it to you as we are both in Alberta.

Yes Alberta has some wide open spaces where that 7mm Rum can stretch out her legs. Look forward to further posts on that burner

Blessings,
Dan

Nice!

Curious if that Redfield will take the recoil of a RUM...

The scope was not included, should have mentioned that..woops!
I am thinking of putting my Weaver Grand Slam 3.5-10 on it. Or, another reason to buy a new scope. Maybe a Nikon 4-16?

338Ultra: thanks for the powder offer.
