Yeah I feel your pain...the look of those African Plains Stalking rifles are so beautiful. I am sure everyone here has AT LEAST one story of a gun they shouldnt have let go of. I too have been trying to pay attention to the Husky's I see popping up in pawn shops and used gun stores. They are great actions and are beautiful to boot.
I need an 8mm like I need another hole in my head. I have a 30-06 and likely will get another 30-06 or another 308 before I get an 8mm Mauser though the odds of more mauser rifles coming to my gunsafe for basic training and active duty I would say is quite high. I like Winchester Model 70's though the Mauser is my close second favorite!
