NEAR mounts

I have a Alphamount for a Wby Mk V and it came with 1“ inserts for the 30mm rings. Now for the question... I have a 1" Leupold scope mounted on the rifle at the moment in Leupold DD mounts and am wanting to change to the NEAR. Should I sell the 1“ scope and buy a 30mm or keep it and use the inserts?

I have no experience with near manufacturing products . from what I've read they are top quality . I do have experience with 30mm - 1 inch spacer inserts . my rings and inserts are made by badger ordinance . I had no problems using these .I have upgraded the scope to a 30mm . I think if you like the scope I'd use the inserts without worry . Jim
