Need 308 Norma Mag sizing die

I stuck a case in my Redding 308 Norma Mag die... after 50 years of reloading it finally happened. Please help me out if you have a spare 308 Norma sizing die, prefer Redding, but RCBS or Lee or other will help me out.

Why not get a pulling kit and pull the stuck case. You would need to tap the case with the correct tool but after you drill and tap, it takes little time to back the case out with the supplied Allen wrench. I've pulled a few over the years and then give the sizing die a wipe out and you should be good to go.

Or send the die back to Reding and have them remove the stuck case.

You could try to do it yourself if you have simple tools.

$20 RCBS stuck case remover is all you need.

I stuck a 223 case in my redding die a few months back. Got it out in 5 minutes with no harm to the die.

Very kind of you to offer help. I am in Sonoita.

In this case I managed to cram most of the belt up into the die and ripped 1/2 the rim off wen tring to pull it out. Also the neck sized in into the case making disassembly a problem. Otherwise I would remove the decap pin, mount the die in my press and force it out.

BUT someone has offered me a replacement die and it's ale=ready in the mail! The on-line community is really great.

Meanwhile, I have mailed the die back to Redding and they will pull the case , polish and clean the die, and send back to me with a stuck case removal kit... just in case I am dumb enough to do this again.
