I have a Rem 700 ADL in .243 shortened and scoped - ready for my son's first deer hunt. I'm looking to load some 90gr NABs up and was wondering if anybody has a pet load or two. I have IMR4831,H4350,IMR4350,W760, H414 and H4831sc to work with. I have others but I think one of these will work well. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Scott

Scott,

IMR 4350 was always my go to powder for heavy bullets in the 243 Win.
Try working up to 42.0-43.00 grs.

Welcome to this forum.

When I loaded for .243, until a couple of years ago, I used 44.0 grains of IMR4350 with a CCI 200 primer and W-W brass. The combo worked really well for the 90 NAB, producing a very accurate load at about 3050 fps in my Browning, Micro A-Bolt.

Scott, I still need to do the same with my son's rifle. I just might hunt it to use the 90 AB.. Keep the recipes coming.
