Need some opinions

well I'm not going to lie, I'm hoping this rifle becomes my go to rifle. But don't tell my 338 I said that, she might get all mad at me and quit killing everything I point her at. :lol: She'll always be My #1 elk gun though. bigger animals require bigger bullets!

The 270WSM and 338 Win Mag is a pretty awesome two gun combo. Trust me, my 270WSM is so easy to shoot it makes me look good. It holds it bullets really close and the animals I point it at don't like it either! Scotty

Well I stopped by the shop the other day and put some money down on my rifle to get him to hold it until I get a few things sold. It is a Boone & Croocket edition is why it has the longer barrel. They call it a 26" but I took a tape to it and it is 25". A really sharp looking rifle, Can't wait to get it. Should only be one more week or so.

The B&C edition is indeed a handsome rifle! My hunting partner bought one. It shot 1/4 inch groups with factory ammunition (Federal, 140 grain AB). He sold the rifle because he is left-handed. I already had a 270 WSM, so I didn't grab it from him. However, it was a fine rifle. Later, I sold it to a fellow that will hopefully appreciate what a fine rifle it is.

Thinking about trying some Ramshot Magnum. I got five different loads with mag pro loaded and ready to go. Hopefully my other stuff sells quickly and I can get this rifle in the next few weeks!

I've shot alittle Mag-Pro in my 270WSM best I got with 140gr was 3334fps and with H-1000 and 150gr Partition 3297fps. I tried some R-17 max load with 150gr Partition 3108fps. My barrel is 25.5" long and I think that helps with some powders. Sounds like you have a nice rifle.
