NEGC Front band sights

I have these on two of my custom rifles; a left-handed Ruger 77 in376 Steyr with a full length stock and a another LH 77 in 416 Taylor.

I'm currently rebarrelling a Winchester Model 88 to the 338 Federal that will be fitted with the same banded front sight, and eventually stocked with a full length stock.

Unfortunately, I did not install these myself, as I had that done by the gunsmith that built these rifles for me. I believe that they were soldered in place.

I like the look of these sights, and have paired them with their rear peep sights which provides for a longer sight picture which aids in precision and accuracy potential. They are strong, rugged sights and should provide reliable service for decades.

The design also reminds me of the look of the Ruger 77 and No. 1 RSI International rifles and the Remington Custom Model 7 MS rifle that had helped inspire these custom rifles of mine.

I believe that you will be satisfied with yours!

They are very nice and plenty tough. Usually they are installed by a gunsmith but the basics is you get the closest one to the actual diameter of your barrel and then hand fit it to be a perfect fit by sanding it out. Then you can either solder them in place or I have seen epoxy used to permanetly fix it in place. They can be a bit of a pain to get straight so take care because they are hard to moose once then are on.
