I'm getting ready to load for my 340.Is new brass as good as brass that has been shot once or twice thur this rifle?

New brass will be fine for your rifle. True the necks of your cases to avoid crushing or related problems. Brass previously fired in your rifle will have the advantage of fitting the chamber more precisely.

Run new cases through the FL sizer to true up the necks and champfer the case mouth. Many times a case that has been fired then FL sized will shoot more accurate in chambers that are a bit on the large size.
