New bullet for the 348!

Wow - I'm impressed that anyone introduced a new bullet for a cartridge that is pretty much a specialty item anymore.

I'd love to latch onto one of the Win 71's or even the Browning reproduction released some years ago. From what I hear, the Brownings were great rifles!

The '71 isn't back in production is it?

mine is a browning reproduction carbine, solid rifle IMO quality is just as good as the original 71's, have heard nothing about anyone making 71's.

You aren't kidding about that.. Wished I could. I would have to unload a couple of things before that would even be a possibility though. Sounds pretty sweet though.

Folks. Great new bullet for the 348. Just a reminder that the pointy shape requires a different seater die as the "older" bullets were all flat nosed. Easily obtained from Hornady and of course they make them available for the 30-30 and the 45-70. Don't want to squish the lovely thing, being flexible might get a bit aggravating. And if there are any extra 71's out there just send along and I will be more than happy to give one a new home. Be safe. Newysan
