It seems like the new 30-30 ballistic silver tip is going to be a great new
bullet, and should really be effective on deer.

Here's what I would like to see is a ballistic silver tip in 180gr 35 cal
two reasons one nosler doesn't have a 35 Remington bullet and two
the 35 Remington is gaining popularity with the guy's using lever
actions.

Just a thought.

Hmmm! Might be an interesting bullet in my .356 as a deer round. Currently, we do have the 180 grain Speer FN, but a BST would be a great addition. While there aren't many of us toting a .356, we are dedicated to that rifle. Plus, it would likely work in the .358.

It would work in a 358Win but the 225gr AccuBond and the 225gr Sierra will drop anything from a bobcat to a what ever you want to shoot with it. I think that a 225gr Ballistic Tip would be an out standing addition to the 358Win and would be actually loaded by more folks than would the AccuBond, when considering most things hunted with the weight/velocity class of the 358Win. The Accubonds and Partition could be used for Moose and Brown bear if someone felt they needed more bullet than the Ballistic Tip on these big animals which I am one who would use the AccuBond/Partition on the Moose and the Partition on the Brown. But the 225gr Ballistic tip in my opinion would be a great deer, elk, black bear, hog round for the 358Win.

I would be game for a 200gr BT or even an AccuBond, maybe even a 210-215 bullets. IT needs to be short enough to cycle through a BLR at stand 358 lengths. I think something along those lines would be great for us .358 guys. Scotty

There isnt't any way that I suppose that you could offer a .32 Special (.321) Silver Tip for we orphan .32 Win Special shooters? I have been trying for several years to get the Hornady bullets in .32 Special and they have never released them.

A .358 cal 200 gr Protected Point BST would be a big hit for the 35 cal fans.
35 Rem, 356 Win, 358 Win, 35 Whelen, 350 RM would all do well with this bullet.

180 grain gets my vote, to use in a Rem 357 Maximum rifle.

And if you could pair that with an equivelant 170gr offering for the 30-30, you would have a nice pair of bullets for the lever guys.

Isn't there already a BST for the 30-30, I think it is a 150gr bullet though? Scotty

Scotty,

You are spot on, there is a 30-30 150 gr BST available now.
