I have a new Remington magazine & I have been reading about all of the new models. It was briefly mentioned that Rem. is chamberinging the 257 Wea. this year. Does anyone know which model?

Have no clue but unless she has a 26" tube.....................

Yes, I agree. That is why I did not buy the Vanguard with the 24" tube. I
had my Sendero 25-06 with it's 26" tube conveerted to 25-06AI by Kirby Allen. I figure it will come very close to a 24" 257. If the Rem is a 26" I am interested, even though I don't need one.

CDL stainless fluted 26" tube

Look's like I might be in trouble!!!

Me too.
I have always had an itch for the 257 Roy and had hoped that it would be offered in the 700 Classic series. The CDL is a very nice looking rifle.

I looked on the Remington site but didn't see anything listing
the 257 Wby. I hope it has a 26" barrel.
Do you have a link you can post?

Well, I guess if it is Walnut & not Lam, I need to see if I can have it pillar bedded & glassed & maybe a rod inlay in the forend under glass to make it warpproof.

I can't find anything anywhere listing or showing a 257Wby in a Remington 700 of any kind. Does anyone know for sure and if so where is it listed, I am interested.
