New rifle

Picked up my new rifle today,its a Tikka 243win with a Leupold 3.5-10x VXIII.

Northwoods has the exact same rifle. Yep, I think "that dog will hunt".

Yup...I have the T-3 .243 in Stainless with a 6.5X20X40 on her. Mine is more of a coyote riflle set up (scope) but deer will fall to this rifle with aplomb! :twisted:

Going to be using this rifle for calling coyotes and as a backpack rifle for deer/blackbear.Going to work up a load with 90gr. BTs and use it for both.

I like Tikkas, and yours looks good just sitting there.

Jim,

I like the leupold lens caps alot.I have them on 3 scopes.They are strong,stay closed untill you want them open.When you do open them they are quiet.Personaly I think they looks much better than any of the other brands out there.The only down side to them is the price.
