New toy for Anna!

Happy birthday to my 11 year old Anna! She got exactly what she wanted.

Marlin XS-7 in 7mm-08. Purple stock and purple socks!

Unfortunately I need the following parts for my daughter's XS7 7mm-08 asap. I took the stock off for painting and lost them during my basement remodeling. A call to Marlin told me they are back ordered for months!


I need mag spring and follower (short action)
trigger guard
trigger guard screw and both action screws.
I do not understand how parts like these are backordered and can be for months! How do they still make rifles

If anyone can help please!!!!!!!!!

Nice one Joel! :grin: Fotis I know you misplaced them, so go sit down there and think man..............think! You put them someplace so you would not forget where you put them, and that they would be safe so you won't lose them. Think of that safe place now, where they are out of the way and they won't be lost, now where would that be? I have faith Fotis and I say that only because I have done the exact same thing before. It's going to come to you. Carmac the magnificent predicts you will recall this information within three working days! :wink:

Hope you find it all before you are forced to buy another x7 for parts!

I have found my wayward treasures in scope boxes, gun cases, top of gunsafes, rifle cartons, window sills, plastic coffee cans (unlabeled), cleaning kit, archery boxes, coat pockets, ammo cans, etc. I have toolboxes in my RV, boat, front of truck, back of truck, garage and house which have all been foster homes to rifle parts.

I hate it when that happens. You know you had the parts, and you put them somewhere that they wouldn't get lost, then I can never find them. About the time the new ones show up, I find the old ones. I think it is more frustrating than never seeing the old ones again.
