Time for a new Tumbler.

Any opinions on the latest offerings and what you are using in it?

Thanks much

I love my Dilllon CV-550. Its high capacity, tough, does an outstanding job with 5lbs. of walnut shell media. Don,t know anything about there customer service since I never needed it. :) :)

I use the RCBS vibratory cleaner. Nice customer service--they once replaced a part I broke for no charge. It does make a lot of noise, though. But it works well enough.

I run a Lyman Turbo Twin. Pretty noisy, but I let it run overnight downstairs. It does work well though. No issues. Had it for 6 years now...

I am also currious. Has anyone tried one of these?

It's a Lyman ultrasonic case cleaner.

I have one still in the box. I'll be trying it out real soon and let you know how it works.

I hope you try it soon. :)

Well I used it last night and here are my thoughts. I had some once fired 270 Weatherby brass that was very tarnished and had a significant amount of carbon at the neck. I resized them as well as some new brass and cleaned them in the lyman. The ultra sonic cleaner does an amazing job at cleaning the primer pockets and case interiors. I had about 20% of the carbon left on the necks but it wiped off really easily. The lyman cleans cases well. It does not polish them so have the right expectations. I then ran the whole batch through my polisher and I have to look very closely to tell the difference between fired and unfired. The fired cases will not require any primer pocket prep - they are that clean.

Thanks for the update , muleman.

Sounds good to me.

I can spit shine the brass if I want to show it off. I'm more concerned with clean, reloadable brass.

Fotis,
If you get it you will love it. I got two other friends to purchase them and they rave about them. Best tumbler I ever bought.

Dillon has a no BS waranty on their stuff. Very good.

I have been using the same Lyman Turbo for around 10 yrs. No issues and works great. Keep it in the shop so it doesn't bug the wife when it is running.
