with the Vortex Razor HD LHT 3x15x42 it will weigh 7.75 lbs all in!

Green with envy. That’s a serious elk rifle. I’m with SD on Sporter style stocks but whatever, it’s your hammer and a well built one at that. An 8lb or under all up 300 RUM is pretty wicked in my opinion. With a brake it ain’t all bad either.

Have you shot anything with the Hammer bullets in any caliber yet? I just started working up loads with them for my 280 and 1in9 twist 243. So far they look very promising.
